Facial Lymphatic Drainage

I offer variations of facial massages. Each of the massages focus on the following parts of the body using warm sesame oil: Face, head, neck, and shoulders. Depending on the massage selected by you, the back, hands and feet are also massaged.

Beneficial for: Headaches, jaw clenching, neck, shoulder, back stiffness, insomnia, softening wrinkles, toning and lifting face muscles, nourishing the skin.

Tools and techniques used: Massage techniques that loosen tense muscles and detox the lymphatic system. We will also lift and tone face muscles by working on 20 meridians and acupuncture points. Gua sha and eye rollers, and a brush to stimulate blood flow on the head are also used.

Products used: Dr Hauschka or Weleda cleanser, pure organic rose water, coconut and sesame oils.

Full Body Massage

We will start by loosening stiff muscles in the shoulders and back, followed by the entire body. I like to pay close attention to the head and face, as we tend to hold a lot of stress in these areas.

Ayurvedic body massage, or Abhyanga, is a deeply nurturing and rhythmic therapy rooted in the ancient Indian healing system of Ayurveda. Unlike deep tissue or sports massage, Ayurvedic massage is more flowing, gentle, and intuitive. The strokes are long, smooth, and synchronized, allowing the body's natural energy—prana—to move freely and harmonize.

This style of massage isn't about intense pressure or working out knots; it's about balance. The warm herbal oils nourish the skin, calm the nervous system, and support detoxification. As the body relaxes, so does the mind, creating a profound sense of well-being and inner alignment.

In Ayurveda, light is more than illumination—it's nourishment for the body, mind, and soul. While natural sunlight therapy (Surya Chikitsa) supports immunity, mood, and digestion, color therapy (Rang Chikitsa) takes light healing a step further by using specific colors to influence the body's subtle energy centers (chakras) and doshic balance.

Each color holds a unique vibrational frequency that interacts with the energy in our body:

Red stimulates vitality and circulation.

Red Light Therapy was originally developed by NASA for astronauts who were injured or ill on long-term space missions. Light emitting diode (or LED) therapy is used today as a safe and natural method of treatment for a variety of skin and pain conditions including acne, wrinkles, aging skin, chronic pain, wound healing and even hair restoration.

We would be using a high quality device for 15 minutes at the end of the massage selected by you. This service is optional and can be selected as an additional service.
